Margarethe de La Marck, princess d'Arenberg (1527-1544-1599). Under her reign, the House of Arenberg began to mint coins.
Duke Charles-Eugene d'Arenberg (1633-1675-1681) minted many gulden in the workshop of Mülheim in 1676.
Under duke Louis-Engelbert d'Arenberg (1750-1778-1820) an important issuing of talers took place in 1785.
